Rev. Al does the right thing

Unlike Julian Bond, his colleague at the NAACP, Rev. Al Sharpton has come down on the side of supporting the Democratic Party's decision NOT to seat the Florida and Michigan delegates --- as was agreed to by all of the candidates months ago, as a punishment for the fact that FL and MI tied to "jump the line" rather than participate in comprehensive, nation-wide primary scheduling reform. Sen. Clinton has made mighty rumblings over the past weeks, suggesting that she wants the delegates seated --- despite the fact that she signed the pledge agreeing that the delegates would NOT be seated.

Please thank Rev. Al Sharpton for his courageous, timely statement.
